
Dr. Lazarus is a board-certified physician who completed his training in pediatrics at Stanford University Medical Center. With over four decades of medical experience, he has dedicated the past two decades to helping patients overcome challenging health conditions through the integration of medical hypnosis and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Lazarus is an Approved Consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a Level 3 Advanced TEAM-Cognitive Behavioral Therapist through the Feeling Good Institute. This specialized training combines evidence-based psychological techniques with medical hypnosis to help patients achieve lasting behavioral change.
His journey into medical hypnosis began as a patient himself. After unsuccessful attempts with traditional therapies for plantar warts, he learned self-hypnosis from Dr. Karen Olness, Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and co-author of the premier textbook on pediatric hypnotherapy. Within three weeks, his warts disappeared completely. This personal experience inspired him to pursue intensive training with renowned experts in medical hypnosis.
Since then, Dr. Lazarus has helped hundreds of patients overcome various medical challenges using visualization, self-hypnosis, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. He has developed several comprehensive video programs that incorporate these evidence-based approaches, including programs for bedwetting and gastrointestinal conditions that have been used in clinical research studies at major medical centers.
